Stereo goes to Phone mode on Lincoln Town car?

Very rare problem.But noticed some times.,

The car stereo automatically goes to phone/hands free mode.
On Lincoln town car the factory stereo is integrated with factory phone.

Typically this is the Phone Unit in the Trunk, but can be the Radio, as they do have the same problem
Remove luggage compartment trim from RH side of luggage compartment

Disconnect wire harness connectors from mobile telephone transceiver.
If that does not reset the Unit

Unplug the Factory Radio for apprx 5 minutes.
