How To Replace Engine cooling fan on Toyota Sienna?

The Toyota Sienna engine cooling fan removal.
The details to replace electric engine fan on Toyota Sienna.


Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Drain and recycle the engine coolant.
Disconnect the radiator hoses.
Disconnect the oil cooler hoses from the oil cooler pipes.
Remove the front bumper cover.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
Release the 4 claws from the hood lock protector and remove the protector.
Unfasten the 3 bolts and remove the hood lock assembly.
Unplug the horn connectors, unfasten the radiator upper support bolts and remove the support.
Disconnect the coolant reservoir hose and unplug the fan motor connector.
Remove the 4 bolts and the fan motor assembly.
Remove the radiator.

To install:

Install the fan motor assembly, attach the motor connector and the coolant reservoir hose.
Install the radiator upper support and bolts. Attach the horn connectors.
Install the hood lock assembly.
install the hood lock protector.
Install the air cleaner assembly.
Install the front bumper cover.
Connect the oil cooler hoses from the oil cooler pipes.
Connect the radiator hoses.
Fill the cooling system.
Connect the negative battery cable.

Number 1 Fan removal procedure:----
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
If equipped, disconnect the relay block for the daytime running lights from the battery hold down clamps.
Disconnect the cooling fan connectors.
Remove the bolts and the cooling fan.

To install:

Install the fan and tighten the bolts to 44 inch lbs. (5 Nm).
Connect the fan electrical connectors.
If equipped, connect the relay block for the daytime running lights at the battery hold down clamps.
Start the vehicle and check for leaks.
