Diagnostic code P0700, P1330, P1121 on KIA?

This issue is very much noticed on Kia car models.Very much noticed on KIA sorento car model.

There is a service bulletin released for this problem.
Please read the details as follows :-----

There has been a service bulletin issued for the P1121 that pertains to the throttle position sensor, (TPS) which might just be the whole problem.

See, the P1330 is an electronic spark timing system malfunction and the P0700 is an electronic transmssion system code.

When there is a problem with the TPS, then the vehicle's computer does not know what position the throttle is in and cannot adjust the timing or the trans accordingly.

You might just need a TPS, but you may want to do the test first. Here is a copy of the bulletin.

This bulletin provides information related to the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) for Sorento & Sedona modes. Some Sorento & Sedona vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble codes P0121 and/or P1121. This condition mainly occurs in high ambient or desert areas, and can be related to the occasional increase in contact resistance due to excessive wear of the inner elements of the TP sensor. This bulletin describes the proper service and adjustment procedure for replacing the TP Sensor. NOTICE: This service bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with 3.5L Engine only.
